The Diversity
Task Force invited PFLAG to staff a table and an introduction.
Thank you all for agreeing to bring information about your group to
Universal Orlando, we are thrilled about our first GLBT "Expo" on Friday,
June 23rd. The Diversity Task Force has decided to have the event from 11:00
am-2:00 pm (you will need to be here by 10:30). This will enable a larger
segment of our population to attend. It will not be a "Lunch and Learn" as
preciously discussed, but more of a casual atmosphere where the team members
can mingle with each other and with you. We would like a representative from
each of your groups to present a short talk (10 minutes or less) starting at
around 12 noon on your organization and then allow our team members to visit
your displays. I will be sending out directions and more information in the
next few days. I will be calling each of you to confirm, but please feel
free to call me with any questions or concerns. We would love to have other
organizations participate as well, so if you have any other contacts, please
let me know ASAP.
