volunteers to take 1-2 hour shifts at the parade. Please contact us at

at the booth. We always have quite a few people coming by for information
for parents, friends, etc.

Street, N. Eola Drive, and E. Central Blvd
The 1:00 Opening Ceremonies/"Vote
with Pride" Rally at the band shell will be preceded by fun giveaways
from the Come Out With Pride Organizing Committee and Channel 35, the
local Fox affiliate. Come early to get a good seat, and to help us
welcome and acknowledge the local leaders of the LGBT community who
will take the stage at 1:00.

Description |
Come Out With Pride is an annual celebration of GLBT pride in
Central Florida. The event is organized through a cooperative effort of the
central Florida's GLBT chamber of commerce-the Metropolitan Business
Association (MBA), the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Student Union at the
University of Central Florida (GLBSU), and other community minded groups and
individuals. The event is planned in conjunction with National Coming Out
Day on October 11th, National Gay & Lesbian History month and hopefully
cooler fall days |

Adopt-a-Highway
PFLAG proudly participates in the
Adopt-a-Highway program in the city of Orlando by picking up litter
along a strip of E. Colonial in Orlando. A sign for PFLAG is
prominently displayed. |
